Weather permitting, we will roll for varroa.  Also need to check and feed our packages!

Fifteen people in attendance. Club COVID supervisor reviewed club policy: provincial guidelines to be followed (members with COVID symptoms should not attend, attending members wear mask covering nose and mouth and maintaining a 6 foot distance adhered to); only six members in the bee yard at one time; use hand sanitizer before entering bee yard. Discussion with handouts of bee diseases (see Module 4). Field work: lighting smoker demonstration; assessed overwintered colony, included rolling for varroa; four new colonies assessed, antibiotic applied and sugar syrup topped-up.
